A DEEP-DIVE SESSION

Consultation

Two hours, one to one, to gain clarity and guidance.

Most people arrive with the pieces scattered. A few of them named, most of them not. The Consultation is where they come onto the table together, so that you see the whole of it at once, rather than only the piece that is loudest today.

Time enough to explore what is really there, to make sense of it, and to leave with clarity and with guidance you can use.

Whole in itself, or the beginning of something more.

What unfolds in this time
Clarity on what you're actually carrying. Guidance you can use. Solid ground beneath you. And a personalised resource, created from what emerges in our session, sent to you afterwards, so what you take forward is specifically yours.

Who comes

People come to the Consultation from several directions. Some come for themselves. Some come as parents, wanting to understand and support a child beyond the labels they have been given. Some come as practitioners (therapists, coaches, doctors, healers) wanting somewhere to bring their own work, and themselves. What is laid out differs. The two hours do not.

SOME COME BECAUSE SOMETHING HAS TO BE MET

Through what has to be crossed

Trauma you never asked for, grief that has not had room, illness, or a transition you are standing in the middle of. You are not looking to be fixed. You are looking for somewhere to put it down, and someone who can stay with you while you do.

SOME COME BECAUSE THEY WANT MORE

Towards what is not yet lived

Nothing is wrong. You are steady, capable, and aware there is more available to you than the life you are currently living. You want to know more depth, more joy, more freedom and to stop managing yourself so carefully that none of it can reach you.

What happens

You do not need to arrive with the words. Most people do not have words. What is in the way is asking to be seen, and often that happens simply by being in the room, not needing to be different.

Two hours is long enough to stop being efficient. We are not trying to cover ground. We are trying to see clearly.

We follow the body, the silence, and whatever is alive in the moment. Things surface in this kind of time that do not surface in an hour: the thing underneath the thing, the pattern you had stopped noticing because it has always been there, the part of it that was never yours to carry.

Nothing moves faster than feels right. Safety sets the pace, and the pace is always yours.

I was a river breaching my banks. Guiding me back into the room to focus on myself.

What I have witnessed people leave with

Clarity, and guidance you can use. In practice, that has looked like:

  • The whole of it, seen at once — often for the first time
  • Language for something that had not had words before
  • A clear sense of what they need and what they want
  • A clear view of their options going forward

Sometimes what becomes obvious in two hours is that the right next step is your own company, or a different kind of support, or a person who is not me. You leave knowing what is available to you, and how to reach it.

In my first session with her I brought up something I'd felt insecure about for many years. By the time I left I felt completely at peace with and in acceptance of that part of myself.

Who you will be met by

Aleksandra Matakovic-Manca

Aleksandra Matakovic-Manca

I am a medical doctor, psychiatrist and psychotherapist, and I have spent over two decades in clinical practice across Italy and England. I choose to work as a coach, mentor and guide.

What comes after

Nothing has to. Many people come once, get what they came for, and go on with it themselves.

Where ongoing support is what you are hoping for, we look at that together at the end — what form would suit, what rhythm, and whether that is with me or somewhere else. Nothing is decided from a page, and nothing needs deciding in the room while you are still absorbing what you have seen.

Questions

More questions, including about cost, cancellations and confidentiality, are answered on the full FAQ page.

You have already done a great deal to get here. Most of it alone, and most of it unseen.

You should not have to do this part alone as well. Not because you are incapable — you are one of the most capable people in your own life, and that is rather the problem. It is because nobody comes home to themselves in isolation.

It takes two to know one.

“I felt more present, more in my body, than I have in a long time … I would have thought I would feel vulnerable and uncomfortable but I didn't.”

If something in you leaned forward while reading this, that is worth listening to.

There is no deadline. The door stays open — this month, next year. If you write, I will be here.

With warmth, Aleksandra

A NOTE OF CARE

Inner Being Medicine is coaching, and it draws on everything medicine and psychotherapy taught me. It is not therapy, and it is not medical care. It walks alongside medical and psychological care, and never replaces it.

Please note that I hold registration as a doctor and, in Italy, as a medical psychotherapist. I choose to work as a coach, mentor and guide.

If you are in crisis or need acute support, that care comes first, and I will always help you find your footing there. This work meets you when you are steady enough to listen inward.
