Cookie Policy
Introduction
Our website, www.innerbeingmedicine.com, uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to support essential functionality, to help us understand how visitors interact with our content, and, where you have given consent, to improve your experience. This policy explains what these technologies are, how we use them, and how you can control them.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store data that can be recalled by a web server in the domain that placed the cookie.
How We Use Cookies
We use the following categories of cookies:
- Essential Cookies: required for the website to operate correctly, such as session management and security. These are always active and do not require consent.
- Analytics Cookies: would help us understand website traffic patterns, such as which pages are most popular. These are only ever set with your consent, and none are currently in use on our website.
- Marketing Cookies: help us understand which content brought you to our website, such as which Facebook or Instagram ad you clicked, and to support any future newsletter or outreach. These are only ever set with your consent.
The table below sets out the specific cookies used on our website today. Marketing cookies are only set once you have accepted them through the cookie banner. We keep this table up to date as our use of cookies changes.
| COOKIE/STORAGE ITEM NAME | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ibm_cookie_consent | Remembers the visitor's cookie preference choice (Accept all / Reject non-essential / custom toggles) | Essential | Persistent, until the user clears browser storage |
| _fbp | Set by Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to recognise your browser and to measure which of our ads led you to the website. Only set once you have accepted marketing cookies | Marketing | Persistent, typically three months |
How We Obtain Your Consent
When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie banner allowing you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences by category. Essential cookies are always active, as they are necessary for the website to function. Marketing cookies are only set once you have given your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings.
You can review or change your preferences at any time using the link in our website footer.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be placed by third party services we use to run the website, such as booking or scheduling software, or by Meta (Facebook and Instagram) once you have accepted marketing cookies. These providers have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review. We keep this section up to date as the tools we use change.
Managing Your Preferences
In addition to the consent options provided when you first visit our website, you can also manage or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website and your user experience.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in the cookies we use. The most current version will always be available on our website.
